Counter Melodys
Use and abuse the EQ on your samples. You dont want all of your counter melodys to have the same highs or lows. Make overlapping samples sound completly different from each other and flip it up. -

Sample BPM slower than Track BPM
It can be a bitch at first, but the FL Granulizer can do the trick if you tweak it correctly. Just takes some practice. -

mbox or digi 002?
Just got the digi 002 and just like the design better than the mbox. Its better to have the 002 if you have a shitload of equiptment to hook up. If all you have is a mic and tables, stick with the mbox. -

If you can chop shit up enough and layer it correctly, no one will even know where it came from. Unless you just sample full bars and put a kick and snare over it, then you got a problem. -

Get goldwave from ******** or download.com. You can record and chop anything you want without having to read an instruction maual. Save directly as a wave and put it into fruity loops. Use the shift knob to place the vocals exactly were you want. It takes some practice, but putting your vocals... -

de-reverb ?
If your using FL studio, you can just adjust the nob next to the reverb effect in the effects mixer. Reverb 2 on FL 6 is pretty dope too... -

which fl version you prefer?
Don't get stuck on the old FL versions. I was hooked to 3.56 even when FL 5 was out, but once you force yourself to learn the new features, your production skills will increase. Learn or be lazy...
