How do you decrease latency time when doing computer and keyboard music?
It's the soundcard, some are less latency than others. I'm running a 2496, it has 11ms latency, my old one Isis was 80ms, much better. But the timing on the drum machines are super instant, you hit the key it's right there... -

slowing down a 138 sample
I would say draw the sample onto one of the tracks. Slow down the tempo from 138 to where it sounds good. Once it sounds good, you can export that track as a wav, chop it, and play back the chops live over a beat, or just play them back without a beat, and records a beat over it later. If... -

Help With Motif 6 And Mpc 2000.
Make sure the MPC is set to Drum on the main screen (not Midi), however select channel 1A next to where it says Drum. make sure the Motif is set up to receive on channel 1. Down the road you can set up one program on the Motif to receive each midi channel (16 different sounds going at once)... -
Splitting a track
Hey man, You can filter it so all you hear is low frequencies (bass), hi frequencies (hats) or mid frequencies (vocals). It won't auto split an existing finished song. -
