How did u first meet Illmuzik?

So yea, not sure if anyone else suspected but im pretty sure barbie was actually a dude trying to market his music as a hot chick. Good on him for the approach to try and do something different, but thats just not sustainable.

I wish scratching was still cool...I miss hearing it in pop music.

    Reason 8!! :)

To bad we lost the discussion here, it was really good! Oh well anyway I dont think I am suppose to say anything, but of course I am beta testing this and honestly at first I was a bit disappointed by a few things. Its a fine upgrade, but it seemed a bit odd in use. Then I wen't back to Reason...

    Reason 8!! :)

Yea I think it's always cool to try and new tool for a bit just to change how you do things once in a while as it's easy to get stuck in one way of working. Now you sure don't want to keep changing daws and never get any work done but to try ableton or reason after years of sonar use can be fun...

    Reason 8!! :)

Oh sure and I don't know that it would make sense to. Sonar is a fantastic tool and doesn't get enough credit, I do feel that sonar and fl from a design perspective are inconsistent in their ui's but sonar is always at the cutting edge of technology like 64bit, VST3, touch etc. also sonar...

    Reason 8!! :)

Yea I would. For almost everyone on ill it's waaayyy more than enough. Now if you do post work or lots and lots of audio editing I would supplement it with other tools. But it's certainly more full featured then fl or maschine at this point. And audio editing in reason is better than ableton but...

    Reason 8!! :)

yea man, I would upgrade from 5 for sure. So much has changed since then. It is going to different in a lot of ways, but at the same time it will still feel like Reason :)

    Reason 8!! :)

Yea audio editing is a bit lacking. You can usually get the job done but some thing's can be cumbersome. The mixer isn't new they introduced that ssl mixer with record version one and it was totally integrated in to reason 6.

    Reason 8!! :)

As a daw it does a lot right. It's really easy to use, but it does need to improve some of the editing features. That being said the time stretch is hands down the best I have ever heard.

I'm mean Streinberg does all ready a drum hardware controller. This seems to be more of a way to compete with logics drum designer.

5 tips to help with your mixing problems

Am I the only one that hates how logic displays waveforms? I mean I LOVE Logic, but it looks almost lo-fi. Cubase/Sonar/PT do this better IMHO.
