cool edit question
ok here's the deal. when recording vocals you want your hook to sound the same on the whole song. now is there a way i can bring the copy of my first hook and place it on another time frame in the song PERFECTLY? ive tried dragging it but it seems like its always off a bit. its either too early... -

ok. well ive done a lot of hiphop joints but im not too sure about recording an R&B singer type of sound. any suggestions? like how to dubb, tweak, effects?? just some general points. i know i have to experiment on my own but following like a guideline would make it a lil bit easier. thanks -
Oxygen 8 delay?
anyone have this problem? when you hit the keys it doesnt register on FL right away? i know USB sucks but this is ridiculous. i stopped using my O8 just because of this. any tips?? holla back -
Cool Edit delay??? (recording)
when i record vocals over my tracks on cool edit it seems like theres a lil delay. i dont know. maybe its me. maybe im just not catching up to the beat. but ive tried lots of times already and it still has the same outcome. has anyone else had this problem? holla! -
Acoustic Guitar
what do you guys think? would it be better to get an acoustic guitar and record it through a mic? or should i get an electric acoustic guitar and record through a pre-amp, through my tascam 122?? ideas????? -
Cool Edit Help!!!!!
ok i just got my Tascam US 122 and a condenser mic. i installed the drivers and all and now im trying to make it work with cool edit. but everytime i try to record something through the mic, cool edit doesnt pick up the sound. help me out here! is there something i should change in the settings??
