@Iron Keys, Congrats on the win! Some dope beats overall, which didn't make voting easy. For me it was a little difficult to find the "hook" in the samples, without destroying the vibe of it. That bass of the first sample is getting a permanent spot in my sample library though... (y)- TWU

How to achieve a good low pass filter on piano??
I think the piano is still low-mid, if not you might want to change the 'key' your working in. And like you said, use a 'roll off EQ' on the low frequencies. -

Very smooth! Few things to consider: The second hihat is raw and present in the mix, is that intentional? The beat has a smooth vibe to it but the hihat used sounds a bit raw and gives a counter effect. There's a little bell or beep in the background throughout the track that get's a little...- TWU

Nice vibe, I like it! The reverb makes everything sounds a little blurry, this is caused especially by the lows and mids that are stacking up. When I put a delay on drums, I filter out most of the lows and mids, keep the reverb tight and clear (more like a studio room). I've also noticed that...- TWU

How do I make my synth sound "lighter"?
I think the piano is played with 2 different notes (D + A to be exact). And indeed some sort of high pass filtering.
