    yeah, but the mpc1k has a full adsr ( envelope ) and your 400$ machine doesnt, something you'd wish you had now lol! I think the only thing you can do is set the start point so that is matches the speed of strum in sync over the beat...

    2.0.... I assume you mean audition lol! In regards of the sampling a wet signal, have a good look at the wave, you be looking for amplitude peaks representing the original dry signal with smaller peaks resembling the delays. If the wave is short then perhaps recycle can cut for ya nicely...
