    It takes more gear with hardware to achieve the same utilities as derrived from software, the quality's better though. When you hook your mpc's out to a nice quality analogue console and have an Apogee Ensemble as the I/O then you'd be talking nice stuff. But..., A program like FL cant...

    I agree on the RS7000, very underestimated... The mc909 isnt as succesfull, the whole mc line hasnt been takin to serious due to its history in budget workstations. The MC303/505 were oke untill you really understood the producing game, then you understand its limitations and money wasted...imo...

    Try the Korg Legacy kit, they come cheap these days with the ms-20 controller and the sound is sharp as fok!
