    And here's one the issues... but the artist doesn't make beats? It's like saying 'snoop dogg type beat' -- how? Snoop has beats from Dre, Timbaland, Preemo, Pharrell etc etc etc etc (trivia: Snoop actually produces beats under the name Niggaracci) Yeah I get it, it's saying "oh it sounds like...

    My point more is, most of these kids think "omg if i make the same beat 50,000 people are making, with the same beat tag 100,000 people also have, then I'm going to become a multi-millionaire grammy award winning producer A-List celeb"

    Ehhh but this is the thing - what are you trying to achieve? If you're trying to put out actual records, win a grammy, have writing credits on songs, etc etc... sitting there spamming type beats is not the way. There's always exceptions, but in that case you're leaving everything to pureee...

    But you're essentially becoming a salesman selling generic products, as opposed to an artist/musician creating art. You can make 100 type beats a day, they require no effort. They're all the same. But can you create a record, a song, a hit? Like I said, if you goal is money, stop grinding...

    I think it's 'cause 2good enters mostly Warzone... which he does well in, but self proclaimed doesn't do well in Beat This. This is the thing I find most interesting on the battles... the success people have in Beat This vs Warzone. is completely flipped. How can I not win 1v1 in warzone, but...

    No one's butthurt. It's just maths... if a football team played 500 games, and every other team plays 38, obviously the team played 500 will have more points. It's just not so accurate as a table or whatever.

    yeah but smaller battles are easier points. I'm 100% in the small battles. I mosttttly enter beat this... which is the hardest to win. and only rewards 20 points. I rarely enter warzone

    i do similar. but you have to listen to a bit more. I kinda skip in to get a feel, some are obvious, one could be hprrendously mixed. mega poor production, and one is solid pro sounding. quick decision. but on tracks both wlel produced you gotta consider. To claim Soap's beat was a write-off...
