The operating system is a wild. You have to get used to doing things like being an adminstrator so you can protect your files but the only thing I would worry about is software and hardware compatibility. I use this G5 at work with the cinema screen but I use a G4 Dual 867 at home for the music... -

FTP = File Transfer Protocol it is a program you use to link to your webspace and upload files to it. I use Fetch. You usually need to know your url IP address and some sort of login and password.- Ominous

bassline in fruityloops
On the Reason tutorial CD it said something about how most basslines are quantitized with the bass drum to accent the beat so its the melody you remember from the song....so when some people hum songs, they are really just performing the bassline they heard. Of course this isn't appllicable... -
