You can change the bit rate on the MPC (12 bit or 16 bit) but not the sample rate. FYI it depens on who u ask as far as money is concered. TO me my mpc2000xl was welll worth the money i spend on it. My music speaks for itself. KNowing what i know now i would glady pay more if needed to get... -

I think what ur asking for is the autochomatic funtion and the MPC 1000 dosent have that, u would have to pitch the sample manuall for each note on the keyboard.
