Laying Down samples?
i usually use software like sounforge to get the loop, then i transfer it and chop on the MPC but there are plenty of people here who chop using software... just ask around class.. -

u probolly need to chop the sample and and put it back togher to get it intime, i do that alot with my mpc, alot of those old records have live musicans with natural swing so if u just try and loop it wont sound right. Most cats chop a loop and replay it someway to get it back intime class.... -
