What's with the Battle That competition?
I heard about it, I saw it, but it seems dead.... is it? I know I'm would be in, since I didnt participate in any competitons yet and I dont have a lot of beats in so people can listen, but a rebirth would be nice, would'nt you think? -

What I like to do is to look for new sounds and get inspired by them...or listen other styles of music and the most important part is not to overdo it cuz that could lead to anger and/or unnessesary frustrations And I also wonder if all the beats Dr Dre says he's doing every day are... -

Simple Beats
You know what? I had the same argument with P_Gyal the other day. You dont need to put 6 or 7 instruments in a beat with a lot of effects and background sounds to make it a great beat. Those are a kind of production, but, sometimes, it's better to make a beat and make it so it's not overwelming... -

Man, E-Jay is alright if you're not AT ALL serious about making beats... It contains loops and samples with a certain music style (like house, electro, D&B, hiphop, etc...) that you only need to put together. Frankly, you will be able to make beats even if you have no talent at all, and you... -

I've been using fruity for quite a while now, but I just started to discover the wonderful world of soundfonts (aren't they great?). The problem is that I found that package with one particularly goood sound, but it's only one note (a DO) and I didn't find a way to play with that sound... -
