I know a lot of members here are making moves. But I'm just wondering. What are you great accomplishments in the hiphop scene, where you're at? Did you already do collabs with known artists? Did you do a CD that is sold in record stores? Maybe we have a big producer in our ranks that is hiding... -

"Mastering Compression" Article
So wihich is better? Compression on the whole drum or multiband compression. Or is it to the beatmaker's liking? Most of my beats are dominated by the drums, so that's why I'm asking for the drum specifically. As for the rest, I guess I can manage... Of course further explanation of the... -
"Mastering Compression" Article
I heard by a friend of mine that you shouldn't compress the drum as a whole, but the instruments by frequencies... like the Kick with the bass (low freq) or the snare with the brass (mid freq) and so on... Which is which? or is that for EQing only? -

I got the upmost respect for the Fresh Prince, but as for his hiphop carreir (made a mistake on that word, right..) yeah, me too actually, they to put the cost of those in the prices of the products you buy, but if you take one, it will be better for them than you taking 5 or 6... even if you are paying for.. like 10 napkins and 5 straws... In the long run, giving out less = money saved- sYgMa

Dont think it was personnal, really... sometimes, they want to rationnize their stock, so the manager asks the employees to give less of the ketchup, mayo, sour cream... all the things you dont pay for, cuz those are straight expenses (they dont make a penny out of napkins and straws)- sYgMa
