What effects do you use to alter your sounds?
I was going to ask the same question... I'm not new to the game... I do make tracks and I do beats for MCs (not that that makes me a professional... I just mean I'm not a BG) But I wanna go a step further... I was listening to some lounge music and, when you listen to that, as a producer... -
What effects do you use to alter your sounds?
I already posted taht same question on another thread, but no one answered... Don't know why... so I'm gonna try the same question in this thread... I always hear (or read) people talking about adding, changing the frequency, or processing the sound of a sample, or whatever you guys say... -

I dont like the song... it's really tacky, but the beat itself was intented to sound like the original... so in that sense,he was kind of forced to make sound like it but, adding a bit of his flava... Still, it's a big disapointment....- sYgMa

yet, someone told me reason is really complex... well that is compared to FL Studio, and I aint into reading handbooks... is it that much more complex? and what about the sounds... do they compare to fruity, are better, worst, the same? -

I dont know... making the same style of beat every time is not me... having a winning formula is good, but it works for so long. I know Kanye, Lil Jon, Jazzy Pha... all those do that, they have signature sounds. They use mostly the same winning formula on all their tracks, but I couldn't do... -

A tight beat!!!! This feels so good!!! I pretty sure this happens to most of y'all. I just made a tight beat (just finished it... it's 00h40...), and, to me, it's the best I ever done. It's the kind of beat that I would listen to in my car... windows down... in winter... in Canada...lol. This...
