I lol in general to c.v. in the digital domain...to me it serves no purpose as i have room/budget for hardware. Even though, its very nice to have "cv" in reason, id wish there was something i wanted to use within reason. I also dont see a reason why i would use cv in dr.rex

well, thats the thing after 17 years of working with hardware...you're look at the obvious features that should be there, then you read the manual. Manuals are valuable, but damn, back in the day they wrote some shitty ass manuals...but just read them anyway
^^^ its really simple, click a pad, select a sample... what's really good about RM is the engine, it sounds really good. You dont need to use the synthesis anyway, i know its good but that's because i used it for house/hardcore tracks aswell so hiphopheads shouldnt bother much about the...
I dont know about it being cheap, but the sound is great like most linplug products. It has a very cool envelope, 6 layers which are easy to f with and a mod matrix. It also includes a drumsynth which isnt to bad either.
The way apple works... if it was a macbook in a tablet format, it wouldve been the new macbook instead... Im not impressed but i could see it as a remote for logic in a nicey studio, remote through vnc should work.
