Yeah no, nothing wrong with 4 minutes. Just saying just cause it's there don't mean you gotta use it. If you do use it, best use it fucking well. I see a lot of instrumental beats online that are around 1 minute in length. Talking spotify releases.- Iron Keys

Imagine someone made 4 minutes of music for me to only listen to 20 seconds of it. Jokes(but reality) aside, I don't see the necessity for making your track that long (unless it really calls for it)... personally I find I'll usually get bored of the beat by that point and it'll start to work...- Iron Keys

Sampling is fucking hard
Sometimes I'll play a bass instead, maybe an octave up from the lowest. As bass gets really obviously dissonant a lot easier. -
