Play it by ear or Play it from the book?
originally i planned to start music theory and i even did have like a couple of lessons etc but i couldnt get into it, one reason is it does nothing for me i dont enjoy learning the stuff ! but i think i prefer to learn the way i do by playing sumthing and knowing whether it sounds right or not...- MarkN

yea i respect dre a lot as he has gone away from just being a beatmaker he is in every sense a producer now i think he could make a pop album or rock album or woteva ! -

i don't particularly like the beat but its well made, but then its dr dre you shouldn't be surprised his production is always top notch, 50 cents lyrics are a bit generic ( no surpise there then ) but its ok and will be a club hit ! pgyal yea i agree if you listen most of dres stuff and any... -
The thumpin' Heatmakerz sound?
they seem to use a lot of 808 type sounds a lot more dance type drums which imo is the main reason there drums sound like that with the fast hi hats and the like short but thumping kick sounds ! Most like dance songs etc will use similar beats and they are made to be baning in this way to... -

I had to make a similar kinda decision earlier this year class, basically ive had a few years out of education doing a job thats ok but its not a career i just been doing til i got my head straight ! It woz either just carry on doing the job i woz doing or similar jobs i mean its kewl enuff... -

i never take anything to listen to them on but i rarely go by the cover i usual hae some sort of educated guess that its gonna be dope like i know the record label, or a good type of music in a good year, or a link to another band i know are good or just ive heard the name ! -
