Making beats in different time signatures !
I woz just making a beat then and i recorded a sample i wanted to use and then when i played it back i realised it woz in 3/4 timing i could have chopped it to 4/4 but i thought id just make the beat in 3/4 too see wot it woz like ! Does anyone else use different time sig's and does this make... -
Sampling
i think the easiest and best way to chop up samples on the PC is cool edit try and get the pro V2 version ! Basically it doesnt matter how you chop it up, wot length it is as long as when it plays its playing/chopping/and looping in time ! id avise getting sumthing easy loaded up to start with... -

Does anyone actually rate Dizze Rascals beats?
whether he takes half hour or ten hours on a beat and then releases it people will still judge him on how good that beat is ! There not gonna say oh well it only took him ten mins so its ok that its crap ! ? Yea theres af ew decentish beats hes made well that you can at least nod you head none...- MarkN

Loading sounds on to MPC
I've got rid of the presets and stuff on my MPC and loaded my own new sounds on but the thing is even thought ive got like 30 sounds in the folder when it loads up it will only load like 12 or so of those sounds ! The combined size of all 30 samples is only like 1.1 meg so the MPC should be able... -
What do you think about music file-sharing?
i do download anything but i think to some extent people shouldnt see it as an end to CDs etc i think if people really support these artists and like what they download then they should go out and get if its wack forget it then they should have put more effort in lol but if its dope then i think...- MarkN

Sampling via downloading old tracks.
lol imo its one thing to do it via MP3 ok i'll do it now and then but at least do some research on who's good and what not otherwise it takes all the fun out of it ! the only downsides are you don't get as good a sound from MP3s and also if someone has told you a good name to check out chances... -
