    ah ofc..hehe the focusrite only uses the signal path of the audient, the rest are just controllers. I figured you're using the oram/trident, it got a lot of crappy responses afaik way back, how is it doing for you ?

    edison is alright, it has its limitations but i can see that grow in the future. I've been saying it since 2.54, fl is probably the most adaptive platform around and image-line does a great job on consistent (and functional) upgrades. heck, they even still support dx plugs lol

    10.24ms is quite a bit still but you got a point. My point was that pci > usb/fw regardless but yeah price determining the factor makes you consider what's relevant for you(aside from portability).

    ^^^ just saying its not ideal in a lot of other cases. In your experience you say it doesnt matter but my mind is set on eliminating as much latency possible. Some people dont even hear latency in their mix or even misalignments upon recording drumtakes. That doesnt mean its not relevant though...
