Whats the difference between Drum Machine and Drum Sampler?
drum maCHINE: it only has stock percussion sounds some u can load more soung and then link them thru midi sampler: the sky is the limits depending on how big your hard drive is or if u store them in zip's u can load up anything in a sampler -

ok does any one else do this? sometimes i quantize the snare in 1/4 then drop the single kick which drops on the 1 count on 1/4 sometimes then when im filling in the kick i sometime play wit the quantize from 1/16 to 1/32 or even 1/64 i notice when i put the snare at 1/4 it kinda separates... -

bass clipping sounds
make sure when u are recording the sound that you hear is coming out flat! for example if u have a reciever make sure the sound is flat dont have your eq's on or an effect on like loud room or what ever then make sure everything is eq the right way before recording check your levels{db} make...
