Has anyone tried to record alternate takes yet? I've tried and what I play is not how it's play'd back. I'm getting notes stacked on top of each other instead of being spread out like they're suppose to be. Almost like they're not being quantized the same as the original take.

well i havent got reason 4 yet
but sound like u have to change ya over dub recording option
it will say replace or over or stack
try takeing off the quantize too then quantize it after
but it just seems to me u have to change ya recording options
so far im sticking to reason3.0
i think the upgrade for reason4 was to favor the alternative music and not hiphop!
oh yeah how much did u spend for it?
or can u get it for free as a register user?

4.0 has a new alternate take feature. that's where I'm having problems. The original take records fine. I'm sure it's something that I don't know about it just yet. I'm pretty proficient with 3.0 so it's somehthing new about 4 that's the issue.
Reason 4.0 is more than suited for hip hop homie, more so than 3.0 IMO. You'll see when you eventually get it. You'll be hearing alot about it real soon. The upgrade is $129...about $140 with tax.

I heard someone else with problems with the new sequencer, are yall using that bootleg release ??? CUz their the ones having it.
anyways, i havent had that issue. But use rewire, it will be in your best interest. ABletons pretty good handling reason.
