Vocal Levels
Sup, I always have a problem with how loud my vocals are on my beats. They are usually too low or too loud. Can someone help me out with some rules to mixing vocals? Is there something I should go by everytime? Let me know what yall do to get the perfect mixing of vocals. Thanks, Bosta -

What can i do....
You need a wav editor like Sound Forge. Cut out the parts you want and save them as .wav files. Then you just load them up into Fruity just as you would do your regular instruments. Takes some time to get good @ sampling yet along mastering it, so keep @ it. -

Different Basslines
Sup, Can anybody fill me in on where I can find or how to create my own basslines. Not just an average bass.....I'm looking for something similar to the one used in Dead Prez - Hip Hop. I can't think of any others right now but I'm sure yall know the style I'm talking about. Help me out Pz -

Use either dog....They're both good. Acid would probably be easier if u already have your beat inside. Just press record and get to work. Real Simple and easy to chop up vocals and get everything perfect. -
recording vocals
I have my setup pretty much like this. Some of it's going to take some rigging but it works out pretty good. First....To have your vocals just recording u have to adjust your soundcard settings. Double click your volume icon and go to Options > Properties > Recording (might be different... -

You should make your beats and use some other program to record your vocals. I use sound forge to record my vocals and I load the recordings right into fruity and mix it all together. Some may find this unprofessional but you can get some pretty good sounding material out of doing it this way... -
