Which type of music do you sample the most?
damn, sampling classical seems really hard especially considering that violins are completely in different time than the cellos and bassy instruments the majority of time. dunno how to explain it, but it's hard to sync up over drums for me so far. -

A must read for producers....
I think you're right for the majority of producers. But then again, there are also the innovators (moreso in the earlier days) that keep moving the sound of music in a different direction. But the blame of the quality of hip hop shouldn't be the producer's problems. It's the record execs... -
