    When they get the high hats hitting like that from the south it's just their doing their beat in let's say 80 BPM... but then they do their high hats in triplets of like 1/6 or 1/32 timing...

    I'm sorry but this all sounds like "fuzzy math" if it's hip hop and its at 200 bpm then its some weird setting where it's really mathematicaly 100 BPM... hip hop is average is between 90 to 110... plain and simple

    I'm workin with a dude right now who has anwesome voice... I can't post yet I promised I would keep it DL till the CD is finished... But I enjoy making it... I don't sample barely ever let alone with him... He and I are trying to make a new sound while we're at it, and it's definitely coming...

    I think it used to be jazz/ blues type stuff... but with Kanye hitting the scene funk and soul has made acoming back... haven't you heard, the 70's are makin a come back (Joke for the 80's babies that remember an old commercial)
