Mpc 2000xl Vs. Asr-x Pro
i jus got am asr x pro.... the reason i like this machine is the fact you can sample while it's playing.. no mpc can do this.... so what i do... is build my sequence on the mpc... and sync the asr with the mpc's(cuz i got a 2000xl/3000 now) and sample into the asr to add my fills... -
What would you do....

How do you start your production??
i have no format... i suggest you dont either... jus have sounds and drums ready... and go with what you feeling.... i hate 2 go with a plan... i like 2 jus flow and go with what sounds nice 4 me at the time.... -

yup you need more ram.... order from... www.forat.com he always hooks it up... and cheap... you need a 250mb in my opinion.. im always running out of zip space.. on my 100mb... i jus purchased 4 my 3000... 32mb... 4 $100 i got a full drum set in.. and i got 180 secs left... same... -

i feel you.. i'm not knocking software... i luv it 2.... but you need hardware.... some thing jus can't be replecated.... and that my provlem with software.... you got so many options... people lose focus... not all.... but some.... i jus feel every bought wants 2 go the cheap... -

you guys need 2 get out of that everything cpu midset..... lol.... keep thinking you don't need a mixer.... of course you do.... now if you have cheesy ass mixer maybe not.... but you might wanna run someoutboard compression.. or some rvb on that snr or smpl... rather than the cpus... -
