You've asked this question before. Are you using a drum loop or what? Either way, time stretch the samples if possible. Finding the correct BPM isn't hard (if you got a tap function, doesn't the MPC1k have that?) Just gradually decreasing/increasing the BPM till you get a full 2, 4 bars... -

Best peice used for sampling?..
I don't think you need a "good" program for chopping. Editing start- and end-points on a .wav file isn't that hard imo. I could do it with Windows Sound Recorder if I had too. But I use Acid to cut out different parts of a song. Then in FL I use FL Slicer or Kontakt 2, to chop it further and... -

Man, tap your tempo. Most sequencer got that option, that you tap a 4/4 beat and it calculate the tempo. So play your sample and tap in beat, then you'll get the tempo of the sample. If you want it to be faster, pitch it, timestretch whatever. -
