is 'hip hop' not the definition for the whole culture with beats, rhyming, b-boying, graffing etc all included?
and 'rap' is the actual spitting of lyrics, the rapping. therefore 'rap music' is simply the beat and emcee.
I need to decide between one of these soundcards. Price is no issue.

i see where ur comin from but i like Dipset personally, yeh they aint the most lyrical but they sell like hell and make some good tracks.

MV-8000 is better for overall production - like from an idea to a whole finished mastered product ready to burn to CD. you can do everything in that box. it makes most people's whole studio redundant.
but the MV aint got the MPC swing AND if you went for the MPC you would have spare money to...
i heard the word rhythmical in a rhyme someone spit, i think it was AZ though im not sure. anyway i think it goes well with the whole beat makin thing; the rhythm of the drums n shit. i also realised it was pretty unique, no one else got it.
