    If your soundcard does not have asio drivers you can get the asio overlay ones at asio4all.com They work great. If the latency is too low you may start to hear popping sounds. If the latency is too high you get that delay. Just adjust it untill the pops goes away. That should be the idea setting

    If you are using alot of vst's plugins many of the preset are load with efx anyway. So when you trackout dry they will still sound all rite. But I still think your have to do some tweeting.
