Your (reverb) techniques on drums?

do major producers use reverb on their drums often? i almost never do. maybe sometimes on the snare or hats. more on a crash. not really on bass. unless the track calls for it.

u have a reverb through each device? why not just route it through the mixer so u only need one and turn up the knob when u want reverb. plus a device routed through reverb directly sounds weird and delayed.

FIRST! make sure the samples (drum hits, instruments, records) are nice in the beginning. like nice quality. then this is what i do. route each drum hit into an eq and just hit each drum sample every time u load it or make a new beat and always tweak the pitch, drop/raise the low, mid, high...
