    u should try out acid 4.0 they have a free version to try out.but since u used to blending with vinyl this method should be easy.first load up a instrumental then place a accapella under it where u think the accapella should start on the downbeat of the instrumental.next go down to the track...

    another route u can try is instead of using recycled loops u can use reason rewired thru acid or ableton live maybe that will give ya better results. but if you are precise with your cuts on recycle then everything should sync up well ....HOLLA AT YA BOY

    well if you looking for a average needle get sumthing like a stanton 500al or a shurem35x and a headshell they are pretty cheap.I used to rock the 500al's and they have decent tracking just dont try to scratch to much with them ...HOLLA AT YA BOY

    sampling audio cassettes?

    well i dunno wat kinda hardware or software u got but since u just starting out,a simple way u can try is jacking in the tape player to the input of your sound card and try recording it with software such as cool edit pro or sound forge.

    i would go for one of the e-mu sound modules.i copped a emu extreme lead for like 60 bucks on ebay.it has sum cool sounds on it but i also copped a pure phatt rom for it like 80!!! so keep ur peepers out for these on ebay i been seein the sell really cheap!! ...HOLLA AT YA BOY
