How do you guys think Hip-Hop influences...
i think hip-hop has too much influence... it's wrong to talk about women like the rappers do, but the fact is - they're not making shit up.. these days too many women degrade themselves, especially toward a rapper... personally, the only way I would sample the same track another producer sampled is if I know for sure I could flip it better... other than that , I usually like being the 1st one to sample a certain song.. but on another note, there was almost a beef started between Just Blaze & Alchemist after... -

Rappers and their 16 bars
two 32's? hmmm, interesting... anyway, if u do the math it'll always back u up...for example, 4bar intro/ 16bar verse/ 8bar hook/ 2nd 16bar verse, etc.... in that structure your intro starts @ 1, verse @ 5, hook @ 21, 2nd verse @ 29, etc... the mc should fill in 5-21(16 bars). hope that helps -
