    yea i feed him live mice. hes actually really mellow though...non venomous. for the most part, they dont have beef with humans unless they feel threatened...so just no sudden, scary movements and you're good.

    I have a Columbian red-tailed boa...he's somewhere from 5 to 7 feet (haven't measured him recently). he's about 5years old...they live to be like 60 or something. I'll try to get some pictures soon.

    you can truncate samples for sure...i haven't been able to dig too far into that part of it. as far as resampling, you can resample into the machine. the fx definitely are pretty dope. it's pretty much entirely sample-based so your melodies would have to be sampled ones.

    yea- i use logic for strictly recording and sound design now...i got the mv really recently to sequence the fantom. it's working pretty well and it's splitting up the labor.

    mv works for me...i have the 8k. i love it and reccomend it. i've seen hardware to software be ill in all kinds of contexts...i've even seen latency play into someone's beat style. i think hardware will be around forever and software will be an ever-changing counterpart.
