On the software its on the sampler tap right below voice setttings in the control area By default its off,just hit the arrow to select the number of the group you want each sound in -

Just put both sounds in the same choke group and they will cut when u hit the sounds -

I've seen a couple people midi up their MP up to maschine. So it doesnt have to be a replacement...once you get a hands on though u will be sold my dude...if you didnt live all the way in the boondocks i would stop by and let you borrow mine for a day or two -

yeah its great for sample based production also. The only complaint with that is no time stretching yet,but that may be added in the next update also -

NI has addressed one of the biggest complaints regarding maschine in the next update. Maschine will now have VST/AU plugin hosting!!! http://native-instruments.com/forum/showthread.php?t=122599 This improves an already great workflow. Yippe!!!! -

Pretty much...I'm not the saviest when it comes to a MP..i used mine for basic sequencing and sampling and not much else,but everything i use to do in it i do about twice as fast if not faster on the maschine...any questions..holla at me -
