REAL HIP HOP!!! Oddisee is the shit! I personally like the way it was mixed as well. Very grimey feel to it. Its like the threw a bucket of mud on the tracks. I don't really like when tracks are "crisp sounding" anyway. -

I mean you can really take that sample and take it any direction. What kind of artist is dude? What direction do you vision for the track? -
Is it ever ok to just loop a sample?
For me I wont loop a sample unless it is rare, but hat is me though. Some of my favorite hip hop songs have been straight up loops. I mean C.R.E.A.M was just a loop. -

Question for you digging dewds...
I use to only listen to the beginning of the track but now I will skip my needle accross the whole song. I find there are better sounds and sequences in the middle and end of tracks.
