Me too, it became a used condom for wack music promotion! I deleted my account a while ago now and proud of it. lol. Theres way better alternatives anyways if your just tryin to get your tracks up on the internet.
I remember reading about one of these scripts a while back too....I think its...
Hey Dream, its been a minute since Ive used Reason now, but last time I was a heavy user I recall it didnt let you have 2 separate controllers independent to one another and assigned exclusive to particular modules?? Was that always possible?
I totally agree, forums offer that intellectual dynamic you typically just do not find on a social network.
You know, thats actually a great idea if its feasible for Fade to code in. I think just injecting some of the activity of ILL into the social sphere might really help get it some more...
ReCycle is obviously useful for creating REX files for Reason, but you dont have to use it for just that. You can actually use it to chop your samples like normal and batch all the slices out into a folder, its really easy.
Are u just referring to an app to strictly chop your samples with? Or are you talking more about an entire workstation like a DAW?
I prefer Recycle for just chopping, and LogicPro for chopping/composing/mixing/etc. Both apps can actually chop a sample out really easy. But recycles batch export...
Hey also, how are you mic'ing your MC? Are you close mic'ing or is he distanced away from the diaphragm quite a bit? Obviously the closer the vocalist is to the mic, the less room your going to get in the recording...just be careful of proximity effect, but that may help too.
And where are you...
Dude I didnt even pay for the quote unquote fancy name brand ones, i just copped mine off eBay from a foam store. Their not the exact same density, etc. but for about $80 bucks I was able to furnish my whole studio with that shit and all i can say is it did wonders combined with the...
Fade gave a good recommendation....Blankets have worked really well for me too.
I have them draped over each accordion door in my studio right by where I have vocalists come lace the tracks in that corner of the room and they really help. I also got really good results after I put some bass...
Now that is a helpful member! :)
@ jamal - I can attest that if the sample itself just doesn't have the frequency content needed for a proper filtered bass theres not much you can do. Even the best EQing isnt going to implant the frequencies needed if their not there.
Nice, Im jealous. lol. Your gonna dig it man. Im still using the same Mac I copped from 05 - this is the only computer Ive ever owned thats held it together for that long and it still runs as good as it did the day I bought it.
Plus the new Macs make even better use of screen realestate which...
Oh wow, yeah 8GB is plenty, i didnt realize the iMac's let you go that high now. (I havent really been in the market to purchase a new Mac for a minute now since I copped my fist MacBook back in like 05)...
You'll be stoked then man, 8GB of RAM and their newer 3.06ghz processor will kick...
If you can afford it, considering how many different areas your trying to get into aside from audio like video production you might consider getting the MacPro since thats really the #1 workhorse for just about ANY intensive task...but Im pretty confident you can survive with an iMac to complete...
