    Personally I say you just do however many you want. However as a good practice every so often find an acapella (i'm stealing the idea from that other post here) and force yourself to make one. I only say this because once you are in the game (as in you got like Method Man or Ludacris or whoever...

    Piano Roll and Samples

    I loaded a sample into Fruity loops and normally you know I can play it in the Piano Roll so I could make a melody out of a loop in a sense. However, I have a sample loaded up and when I switch up the key on the piano roll it doesn't change the sample at all. Any suggestions?

    What's Ya Process Like

    First I get my samples, I first like cutting out some loops so I can lay out the basic parts of my track. If I feel like it, I will cut out sections of the loops to mess with them. After that, I'll send out one loop and check the tempo. I then make the the whole song with just the samples...

    Well people he asked in another post about getting drums out of a sample, explained how he's still trying to learn how to tweak instruments, and didn't see the point in compressing drums. Now he's dropping beats to T.I.??

    I agree either go with the MV/Motif or do what Misc suggested because you can just run it to the computer and end up paying a lot less

    After that review I might have to check it out, except that you say it crashes your PC and I don't have a MAC so I don't know. But if it's really so amazing I might have to look into it haha that is another thing to think about if we talk about cost factors.
