Cool Edit - subgroup on the mixer?

i dunno what it satnds for. I think it's intended for use when you want to run multiple tracks through the same effects, you just make one bus and it's less taxing on your processor. I am not 100% sure about this though.. ose

    Shure SM58

it's the industry standard live mic, and the I-can't-afford-a-condenser standard as well. I use one. I get pretty good results out of it. If I had the cash I would buy a condenser, tho... ose

    s900/950

That software does exist, but I don't use it. I record from the out on the PC or turntable to the sampler and then from the out on the sampler into the PC. I personally think this works better than using the disks because part of the characteristic sound of vintage samplers is obtained by...

    s900/950

I save all the sounds and sequence everything on the PC, so all i really use the s900 for is getting the "classic sound" out of it. I used to fuck with the disks but it was such a pain in the ass that now I do it this way. I get the same results bothways anyway. peace, ose

Cool Edit - subgroup on the mixer?

hello, I'm wondering if there is a way to group tracks on the mixer. For instance if I have kick, snare, and hat all on different tracks, mixed well relative to one another and I want to change their levels in the overall mix without changing the ratio of the drums relative to one another. I'm...

    s900/950

I really like it. I usually only use it grime up samples. It's really easy to record from the PC in to the s900, fuck with the sample rate or resample and then put it back into your mix on the PC. It's especially dope for blowing up drum sounds. I suppose I would rather have an sp, but they...

    Help With Cool Edit Pro

CEP is not real good for drum patterns. I guess you could do it but it would be a pain. try Fruity Loops that's what most people around here seem to use for drums.
