That's the truth. I hear someone playing something from somewhere in some street and I get so annoyed that I can never find it again as I don't know the name of the artist or the song, haha. -

I'm guilty of listening to the first 30 seconds to see if anything grabs me. If it does, I take the whole track and chop it all up pretty thoroughly to try and get all I can out of it. -

I think it's a great idea. Showcases and battles will certaintly be different.. I'm not sure if that's for the better or not, but i'm got no qualms about producers of other genres giving their take on things too. Yea Classic, I completely agree with you. I DO wish that I hadn't emailed the guy and got him to take it down. I'm thinking of signing up to a few forums and posting it up for people. Basically physical copies are only being sold in Australia at shows etc... and although we would send overseas... -

The MPC is not essential. Beatmaking is not about getting an MPC and learning it so you can begin to make "pro" beats, it's about finding something YOU'RE comfortable with, something you can create with. My advice to you is to look around, find some music stores, try and test drive a few... -
