Really experiment with the velocity too. A snare may sound out of place until you mess with it's velocity. -

Quality Ratio
I'm finding I make much less beats these days, but the beats I do make are generally of a good quality. I'm probably making 2 good beats for every 1 beat that I don't think makes the cut. It used to be 10 bad beats to everyone 1 good beat. After 2 years of all bad beats. -

Welcome to Ill mate! You should just be able to have the midi controllers (keyboard and triggerfinger) running through USB. That's what I do. I've got the Oxygen 8 and a Triggerfinger and they both work great like that.- Elgen

I'm really feeling your remix, Shon.The beat is real nice and it suits the accapella real well. One thought is that you could have tailored it around certain bars to make some things fit a little better, plus, have more of a change for the hook. That's not a neccessity, but more often than not... -
