cmon man lets be realistic here. yea so it might be 'cooler' in the standards of hip hop to sample vinyl or whatever you wanna say, but these days you can find just as much rare and crazy shit on a cd. i dont give a shit where my samples come from, if i want someone to know what i am sampling... -

Loop Editing
you can also change the pitch, tempo of the sample to stretch it to 4 or cut it to 2 bars, it will change the sound of it a bit but it could sound tight, you just gotta play till you get something nice! -

yeah carpe , thats the way to go, i take out old cd's and soundtracks and shit and just drop em onto my laptop, then i go through em for small parts i can sample...works real well. -

2 PC's or more.
i have two pc's as well. i dont really use them in any combined method but i do find it nice to have the option and the space. esp since one is a laptop and one is a desktop it just makes it nice.. -
