    that's one of the reasons i started to sample because my melodies were sounding the same. seemed like i could only use certain synths. thats why i listen to different types of music to stay creative

    i got one, and it's sort of a gift and a curse. it gives me extra sound, but alot of people say they cant hear some of the low end in my joints. it's more because the woofer produces extra bass that i take it down so when its played on regular monitors, its lacking

    i know i'd be in trouble if i couldnt sample cuz i find it very hard to compose somethin that i consider legitimate. and it's even hard to play along with a sample, but sometimes i just put on an old record and filter it so i can play the bassline along with it. i'll probably end up pickin up...

    yeah preme would be in big trouble. and maybe 9th wonder. all the other producers, usually have a mix of samples and musicians i think, so they could survive off that. Hip Hop would never be the same!

    Note Release

    I am working with a 2000xl and i have chopped up the samples and i have them in a program, but the notes are very choppy. they dont have a lot of flow. i wanted to know if the 2000xl had a function for release. i've used release with the nnxt and dr rex in reason.
