Reason Drum Configuration
Don't even worry about it. If I try to explain it , i'll probably confuse myself LOL Yesterday I tried setting up a redrum in a combinator and had about five eq's stacked. It took a while to configure with all of the wires in the back but i think i got the hang of it -

I'm trying to get a configuration where i can build kits with one redrum machine. I already know how to route the channels to the mixer to monitor their levels. I want to know how to do that and be able to have eq for all of the channels just in case it needs some additional tweaking. Right... -

How long does it take?
It usually takes about an hour or two to get everything sequenced right. After that, i usually come back and edit. It's been so long since i came up with a hot composed beat. at the end of the day, the composed stuff i do takes about 4-5 hours all together. you shouldnt worry about how fast it... -

how did it all begin?
I think i started off with a program called mixman studio. I took what i learned from that with loops and started using acid. I used it the most after i got the ejay sample cds After that i moved on to reason but i was just making drum tracks with little samples in the redrum cuz i didnt... -
I need a Trigger Finger....big time
I dont know the exact procedures on how to set it up with a Mac but you should make sure you have the right template for reason. also, try setting the trigger finger up as a control surface. Hope this helps -

yeah i use dvd-r's too. I just got the dvd burner so I put all of my samples and drums on there -
