Which DAW do you use?
Dont know how to explain it since I have not delve into any other DAW's like Ableton. But Ableton looks simpler compared to other DAW's. As far as my workflow, I sample sounds using Sampler"\ then use a Drum Rack to chop Samples up and use another for drums. Simplicity is what drove me to it. -

What DP means is that having an audio interface would not strain your computer so much that it would make it lag everytime you play a note on your computer. that is why we recommended an audio interface. but if the only thing that worries you is the keyboard...definitely go for a midi adapter... -

Have you tried plugging the midi keyboard in other ports? also make sure that the drivers for your midi is also updated. make sure that your computers drivers are also updated. have you also tried playing with the keyboard without effects? is the whole track playing when this happens? try... -

Anybody. Need Some Help
If your just starting out I would insist on not spending anything especially samples (or at least spend the least amount of money but definitely not samples) here are a few sites I still use for samples : -looperman.com -loopmasters.com -musicradar.com I never bought any samples or VST's for... -
Extracting Accapela's?
I've read something about this... you would need the BEST copy of the track as well as the Best copy of the instrumental. you just have to line up the wave forms exactly the same way for both and it should cancel whatever is duplicated meaning you will be left with the vocals. Have yet to try... -
