    I think his groove comes from the way he samples, but I like tearing it apart and figuring out how he got to it. I do this for all beatmakers and producers I follow. This is what I like about his production, It's simple and articulate.

    9th Wonder is one of the beatmakers that I look up to. He's just real to me. I've been looking for a way to watch this for some time now, Ended up finding it on youtube. Hope it gives you the inspiration and knowledge that it gave me, Keep doing it for the love.

    Thanks guys! I appreciate the kind words! That "Golden" beat is actually on my beat tape that Im going to be releasing soon. Big ups to the people that voted and took the time to listen to not just mine but @oninkaf and @DEEZ BEATZ 's beats. They definitely don't make anything easy.

    :eek: LOL, I submitted the wrong beat! :wtf: I hear you, a lot of the entries missed the theme. ( including me ) Some of the beats stood out to me cause of their chopped up samples. Sadly, There are also some dope beats that aren't BoomBap. Still a great turnout! Good job everyone! :up2:

    This... you can easily replicate the sound with a one shot if you have a tambourine sound. Youll pretty much has to stretch, pitch up, layer original sound, add reverb, and then delay. then loop. of course, you might have to mess with the ADSR to make it sound more convincing. Or... Scour...

    Man, I've been wanting one as well, Its definitely better to process raw sound coming from actual instruments and the reason it sounds better is that of that low end which sometimes lacking from Vst's as they have already been processed to a specific degree.
