sorry i was in a rush and forgot the specifics, Im using cubase sl which when dealing with audio mixdown is just the same as sx. really there are no specifics other than the audio mixdown involves both audio and midi. thanx anyway man! -

U can also take the original drum and distort it and turn down its volume a lil, then take another one of the original kicks and compress it and turn its volume down to a bit more than the distorted drum and a bit less than the original and layer the three and that works pretty well for me. but... -
