actually if you burn a cd in wavelabs montage with markers then you have to uncheck (set markers automatically). make sure your sample rate is 44.1 and wave lab automatically finalizes your cd. maybe the cd you are burning to is no good. or you are trying to burn to cd-rw. i`ve been using... -

you will be better off with a 100mb zip cause you can save way more on it. if you use floppy then you may need 2,3 or more disks just to save one song. -

i like the mpc cause it make me feels like i`m creating when i use it. i tried a couple of software samplers and it don`t feel the same to me when i try to make a beat. plus i have to have both hands involved when making a beat. the mpc can be just as easy as software samplers if you really get... -

multi tracks?
i agree with formant & mercurywaters. you also need a large hard drive, a lot of ram, and a fast processor to do multitracking with effects on pc. all of that will determine how much multitracking can be done. over all pc is cheaper. -
