I like the beginning of this beat the guitar gets repetitive tho. the chops do not help the guitar either. if the guitar is a loop id figure a way to chop it up make different variations of it. the drums are nice sounding.
I would rather play the melody than find a sample and chop it. I do find myself playing a melody some times then resampling it. but really like to do my own work.
@slimegreenbeats
what daw do you use? I use reason so I found a vst plugin that has some 808s match it to my chords and play it like drums but within the chords so its not out of key. fl studio u can play any sound including drums like instruments. so I see a lot of people play bass/808s in fl...
I feel like u r trien to make this something its not. it has good roots and I don't think its hip hop. but I definitely can hear this on some kinda ad on facebook or something
k so this is a very simple beat sounds good but to only sample what u did was kinda soft. but that being said I'm not a sample type producer so. i hear so many other opportunities in this song for better sampling than I hear in your beat. but your beat is clean.
well, I went with some adam t8v really wanted the adam a8x but a grand a piece right now is much. the t8v were 300 apiece and I hear I'm going to need to get use to the ribbon tweeter. what do you guys think?
So one of my tweeters just went out on one of my monitors, well it hums really and when I play music through it crackles and pops. so I'm in the market for new monitors. what's everyone's go-to speaker?
I've been looking at Yamaha hs8 and adam t8v
