on fruity loops is there a way to set a swing on each individual channel

I don't believe so.... but you can manually align each hit by turning quantize off and arranging it in the piano roll. Much better than the gridlock sound.

Yes, kind off. Send each sample to the piano roll. You can swing anything that way. Just leave the "swing" setting alone.

co-sign. You can get the tightest swings by manually doing each sample/hit/note yourself.
