thats just how is its down here. the reason they talk about the same thing is because they are not open minded and/or never been anywhere else but the south. the reason luda, outkast, ect is still around and popular all over is because they dont make music just for the south. its the same thing when we look at the up north cats, but dont get me wrong a lot of them are a lot better than cats down here, but they always be talking about whos the king of new york, i run this city, ect. but if you are open minded you can get outside you shell and expand, thats how i see it.

im feelin T.I.'s first more than his second, but the second is not too bad either, he exapanded his game, he some samples based beats (kanye west made them if i think) he got jazzy pha on it, he did good this time around too...it came out at number 4 the other week, which is real good!

It's a none fact so please south side people dont come blasting back it's just a true stereotype. metrosoul..thats so weak..talking about how people in the south don't know anything about music, hip-hop comes from black people, when we were dragged over to this country we were not in new york, we were down south, all the old negro spirituals, etc comes from down south, that was passed on to make other genres like blues, jazz, r&b and eventually hip-hop, even though hip-hop formed in NY, it still has very deep roots in the south, so dont get it twisted..and as far as there is no underground southern rap scene...where have you been?

Point iz every zone is got their stigmas and their hang-ups...And for tha cats that wanna expand - more power to em'...I wish it was true as well, but i dont think every artist is gonna try to break tha mold - its jus not gonna happen. I used to get really pissed off about shit like that too - until i stepped back and realized that no matter how much you want shit to change, this is still a industry - soley built to make money..and no matter how much you are on tha grind and love tha music for tha music, and say you dont give a fuck about a buck...Its still a monetary system -and i think this is just part of tha reason, but a good chunk of why you see so many wack muthafucks tryin ta spit tha same shit...People get manipulated and when theres money involved in 5 - 6 figure calculations, they really dont care much any more if its all for tha music, cuz all in all it never really iz. It was hard for even me to realize this till just lately to be honest...and i see how tha shit works as whole now. I used to think that those dumb fucks that you and i hate so much never really even grinded tha way those other cats did that really tried to make an impact on tha hiphop community. But its just not so, as a matter a fact - if you think about it...For tha majority - we all love music, and thats why we get invloved...we wanna give something to tha melting pot of influences that coexist together in music and see what comes back in return. Im sure that those guys that just scream and blow penis all tha time now really used to have something individual to add to tha mix...but now its just money, and theyve become tha typical sheep that we all label them as.

there iz good music that comes out of tha south too...but you gotta dig for it just like you have to in any other zone on tha map...thats just tha way it works.
