aiight, here's the deal
had to reformat my hard drive a few weeks back. i'm just now getting to the point where i have some beats that i want to put together and record
software in use: soundforge and sonar 4 pro ed.
soundcard: audiophile usb 2496
soundforge. i can play audio out from soundforge just fine. however when i try to record, there's no indication from the sound levels that it's receiving any audio. i check the audio device, and it set up with windows classic wave driver, with the playback and record setting set to my audiophile. when i change from windows classic wave driver to audiophile asio, i'm unable to playback let alone unable to record.
sonar. i've messed with the audio device settings but i have the same problem where i'll have an audio track armed to record, but the audio levels are not responding to any sound that i trigger from my mpc, all of which is connect thru audio, not midi.
does it sound like i'm missing something?
